Abstract

Religious studies, although an ancient science, is an expanding study that advances new results, outcomes, and findings every year and experiences deeper depths, so that these achievements and results are very different, and secondly, the results are often credible. They have a short-term science and are transformed by criticism, denial, and ultimately reform. The important question now is, first, "What are the factors and obstacles that drive such shortcomings or changes?" And secondly, "Are these obstacles and pests rooted in researchers or is it necessary for the field and type of research ?!" The present article, by examining the conditions and characteristics of the field of research in religions, which is accompanied by a kind of analytical-exemplary critique, addresses obstacles such as "lack of necessary resources for research" and "weakness in the optimal method of research" related to the field and type of research.
