Abstract

Among the tools used by the greats of Persian literature in order to spiritually arrest others is preaching; In a way, it can be said that this category has exaggerated a large part of Persian poetry and prose texts. From the oldest poets and writers to their contemporaries, they have used advice in their works and even, sometimes in a few issues, have criticized preachers. Since the main purpose of the Qur'an is guidance and preaching, Persian writers who have written in the field of Qur'anic exegesis have made sermons an important part of their interpretive teachings and have been referred to as "preaching interpretations". They turned to the advice of their readers and audiences. The phenomenon of tafsir mixed with sermons has long occurred in Persian literature with the translation of Tabari tafsir. However, one cannot ignore the Masnavi of the Molavi, who, inspired by the verses of the Qur'an, advised the audience in the form of a kind of interpretation and explanation of the Qur'an. Later scholars from the latter continued this course and, like their predecessors, achieved the creation of interpretive-literary works of Stargi; As "Mavaheb o Aliyah" of Sabzevari can be mentioned as the culmination of the preaching interpretation of the late Persian literature.
