Religion is a comprehensive plan of life that, if properly understood and applied, plays an effective role in the prosperity of human societies. The opposite concept of its correct application is Instrumental Use of Religion, In which an individual or group uses religion as a means to achieve personal, group, or political interests and exploit others. In order to answer the question of what instrumental religion is and how to deal with it, the present study seeks to examine Quranic verses by using the Thematic analysis method And provide a comprehensive model for identifying and dealing with instrumental religion. After analyzing the data obtained from the verses and interpretive sources, the findings of this study were categorized into 141 key propositions, 279 basic themes, 29 organizing themes, and 6 comprehensive themes, and based on them, the desired model was designed. The proposed model consists of 6 main components: The religiosity of instrumental religionists, the personality of instrumental religionists, the Behaviorism instrumental religionists, Methods of instrumental religion, goals of instrumental religionists, and ultimately, confronting instrumental religion. According to the proposed model, instrumental religionists have a high level of religious knowledge, but their beliefs and behaviors are very contradictory. To achieve their own non-religious goals, which have in common the pursuit of superiority in numerous areas, they choose a limited part of religion that serves their interests The proposed solution of this model for dealing with instrumental religion is influenced by the cognitive nature of instrumental religion and its ability .....................
